Infrared Light Therapy
HEALING STARTS HERE
Red Light Therapy is a process of emitting light wavelengths through the skin to stimulate your bodies natural healing and regeneration processes.
HOW DOES RED LIGHT THERAPY WORK?
When delivered within the optimal wavelengths and energy levels, red and near infrared light protect your body’s cells from nitric oxide damage, which can otherwise stop the cell’s production of ATP when you’re stressed or ill. Red light photons allow your cells to continue utilizing oxygen effectively by minimizing the absorption of nitric oxide. Only red light therapy can reach all the way into a cell’s mitochondria to stimulate healing and regeneration to help improve your appearance, performance, and overall well-being.

CranioSacral Therapy
What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a philosophy of treatment that utilizes light touch to evaluate and enhance the functioning of the craniosacral system which includes the membranes of the brain and the cerebrospinal fluid that provides cushioning to the brain and spinal cord. Developed by Dr. John E. Upledger through numerous research studies between 1975 and 1983, Dr. Upledger combined his profession as an osteopathic physician, clinical researcher, and professor of biomechanics to create the preventative therapy known as CranioSacral Therapy.
How can CranioSacral Therapy Help?
Practitioners are trained to relieve compressions and adhesions found in the head, the sacrum, the spinal column, and the fascial system that makes up the body. Through the release of these restrictions, there is a subsequent increased in cerebrospinal fluid through the central nervous system that assists in removing "blockages" to improve the body's ability to self-heal and decrease the sympathetic drive or high-stress states. CST takes a whole body approach to treating clients which have been shown to influence the digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and neurological systems of the body to help treat a multitude of conditions.
What to Expect:
Initial evaluations are 60 min with subsequent sessions lasting between 45 to 60 min depending on the client's preference. The practitioner will then perform an evaluation and provide a recommendation for the frequency of subsequent sessions. Typically, clients range between 3-10 sessions to see improvements and continue with maintenance sessions weekly, biweekly, or monthly as the body continues to undergo stresses from daily life. As mentioned, CST can be a powerful preventative method for improving one's overall health but the client should also pursue or continue additional intervention modalities (i.e., exercise, Yoga, meditation, diet) to enhance treatment.
